They hit the ground running, taking any and all opportunities to perform and full tipped sleeve was born. They began as a cover band, building up a great collection of songs from acoustic to hard rock and everything in between. With their musical backgrounds, their transition into songwriting was natural. Full tipped sleeve is known for their musicianship featuring outstanding vocals, difficult riffs and funky beats.In 2011, full tipped sleeve played over 50 shows including their own stage at ottawa bluesfest, bronson centre, landsdowne park, capital music hall, mavericks, live lounge, irene's, zaphod's, greenfields, the rainbow and many more venues throughout ottawa. They organized their own fundraiser which raised over $3500 in one night and managed a whirlwind tour to toronto to record at epik studios and play the rockpile. Their debut 9 song cd is available on their websites and itunes and the band is currently working on their second cd.Full tipped sleeve has received pages of accolades from fellow musicians and people in the music industry. Their music is toted as being "mature way beyond their years" and the band has "a stage presence and performance equalling adult bands who have been performing for a long time ...".
