Whisky JaneFormed in the spring of 2006 in Vancouver, BC, and recent WCMA and 2 time BCCMA nominees, Whiskey Jane continues to be a fixture in the West Coast country scene. With influences ranging from Gretchen Wilson and Sugarland to Big and Rich and Aerosmith, Whiskey Jane brings a fresh and exciting approach to New Country. Whiskey Jane is one of the best new, young country bands in the Lower Mainland. The energy of the band is infectious - everyone is on their feet by the end of a Whiskey Jane show! This band is going places.. Keep an eye on them! Youll be seeing a lot of Whiskey Jane in the future! Don Buchanan (President, Notable Entertainment)Whiskey Jane is Rock 'n Roll in a cowboy hat!! Featuring Natalye Vivian on lead vocals, Kirby Kaye (Guitars, Banjo, Mandolin, keys, vocals), Donny Ducharme (bass) and Rafe Haines (drums, vocals); the group combined their experience and talent to produce the Whiskey Jane sound. WJ finished recording their debut album "Things Left Unsaid" in January, 2009 at Topspinn Studios (Vancouver, BC) produced by Kirby Kaye with mix and overdubs done at Hipposonic Studios with John Webster. Their debut single "Summertime" reached #23 on the top 30 in their hometown of Vancouver, and hit #83 on the Canadian top 200. "Music City" reached #57 on the Canadian Country Charts. Not too bad for an Indie band! In March of 2009, Kirby Kaye and Natalye Vivian were invited to do some writing for Canadian Idol 1st runner-up, Jaydee Bixby. The result was a song called Hard to love you featured on Jaydees top 10 debut, Guitars and Cadillacs, produced by John Webster and Bill Buckingham.
