She soon set her sights on Berklee College of Music, and began performing and winning awards, including a coveted spot in the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Foundations jazz ensemble, the Dallas Morning News Rookie of the Year, and Texas 10 Under 20. Now at 23, Elbert has played over 500 shows throughout the US and in 13 countries around the world, from Peru to Palestine.In 2010, Glamour Magazine selected Emily as one of the years Top Ten College Women. Shes also a winner of Scotlands Burnsong International Song Contest, 2009 and was named the Best New Artist of 2008 by WUMB-FM in Boston. Emily won first place in the BW Stevenson Memorial Songwriting Competition in April 2012, and The Timberland Company selected her as their eco-friendly Artist of the Month for January 2012. Her YouTube channel has garnered more than one million views.In 2006, Emily co-produced her first independent album of original material, Bright Side, and then in September 2010 released her second, Proof. It features Emily at her best, with strong melodies, straight-to-the-heart vocals, and intricate guitar work. Her third CD, a full-band live album funded entirely by fans, will be released in spring 2012, entitled Alive, In Love.Tiger DarrowTiger Darrow has been compared to Norah Jones, and Regina Spektor among others, but her sound is completely her own. Tiger is a Music Composition major at New York University. Prior to making the move to NYC, she was a music major at the prestigious Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas. Austin raised, she is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, cellist who appears regularly as a headlining performer at theaters, nightclubs, special events, and private parties nationally and internationally.Accolades include two National Downbeat Music Awards for Studio Engineering. Her music video for The Writer was an official selection of the 2010 Foursite Film Festival. The music video for As One which was shot and directed by Brian Guilliaux was seen on CNN.com. Most recently, she was honored to have two of her compositions selected for performance by the NYU Contemporary Music Ensemble. Tiger has appeared on magazine covers, and has been featured in numerous publications. In 2011, Tiger released two CDs; the self-produced, You Know Who You Are, and the foreverything music produced, Hello.Tiger grew up on film sets. As an actress, she has appeared in more than a dozen films including Robert Rodriguez Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, Spy Kids3-D: Game Over, and Shark Boy and Lava Girl. Tiger was employed at Troublemaker Studios as a crew member in 2010. While working on post-production for the feature film, MACHETE, Rodriguez selected three of her compositions for use in the score of the film. Following post-production on MACHETE, Tiger returned to TMS to work on the production of Spy Kids 4 as an on-set assistant to the director.
