OC45Derek gets kicked out of a party at Dave's house in fall of '07. Derek hauls full beer cans at said house. Derek meets Anthony in spring of '08 and they talk about a band because they both like Leftover Crack. Naturally, nothing comes of it. Derek and Dave actually meet through mutual friends and bond over Streetlight Manifesto and Rancid. Adam pukes in Dave's livingroom sometime in the spring of '07. Adam ends up moving in with Dave, fall '09. Dave introduces Adam to Derek because of uncanny musical similarity (ie. the Suicide Machines). Derek and Adam start jamming and writing songs acoustically. Spring of '10, Adam gets a gig for his old band that no longer exists. Adam asks Derek and Dave to form a band. Derek calls Anthony to bang on the drums. Since the original lineup, Dave has moved onto some sort of hardcore band or something, Anthony switched to bass, and Derek's longtime neighbor, Nick Tanzi, hopped in on drums.Fast Forward to August 2010, following a raucous show at Harper's Ferry w/ the Welch Boys, OC45 went on temporary hiatus because Derek's a jackass and went to Santiago, Chile to teach English. The band has been writing and collaborating on tons of new material and plans to destroy everything in their path during the summer of 2011 and beyond.
