5 De Mayo ReventonFeaturing Miami's Own Reggae Cumbia Mashup BandBachacoAn Explosive High Energy International Groove is the language Bachaco speaks. Since its formation in 2007 the band has managed to successfully blend the Caribbeans most globally loved Reggae, Dancehall and Ska with South America's own Caribbean legacy rhythm of Cumbia. The marriage of these elements is only possible thanks to the band's own diverse range of nationalities: Venezuelan, Jamaican-American, Colombian-Irish and Puerto Rican. Such a melting-pot allows Bachaco's creativity to flow naturally. Songs are written in English and Spanish nterchangeably and the sounds take you on a trip deep through your own paradise, right from the dance floor.Bachaco was founded in Miami in the beginning of 2007. Initially formed by three Venezuelans, one Jamaican and a Cuban-American, the band's great diversity of cultural roots, musical interests and influences is what helped it gain popularity within Miami's local music scene.Their first album is now being recorded in different studios in Miami with the help of Latin Grammy Nominees "Locos por Juana" and many other award winning collaborators. To avoid being labeled to a specific music genre they consider their music style to be OneSound, a mix of Reggae, Ska, Cumbia and many other Latin and world rhythms.
