Special Guests featuring:

DJ/Rupture (Soot, Negrophonic.com, Dutty Artz, Tigerbeat 6)
Border-crossing bass visionary, Boston-born Jace Clayton aka DJ /rupture infiltrates and overturns musical institutions using all the tools at his disposal: genre-smashing three-deck DJ sets, mixtapes, productions, collaborations with live performers from all over the world, online and in print, through his label, Soot, and blog/label collaboration Dutty Artz. A true ambassador for sounds from the experimental end of the global dancefloor, his live performances guarantee booty-shaking transmutation between dancers and thinkers alike. /Rupture ended a spell in Barcelona stateside, in New York, where his regular radio show on WFMU cross-pollinates cumbia with grime, dubstep and broken beats. theAgriculture will release his latest mix "Uproot" this summer, and we'll also see an upcoming split mix of digital cumbia madness with Matt Shadetek: "New York Tropica."
Holla!

Dave Q (Dub War, NYC) is the founder and resident DJ of the US's original dubstep party, Dub War NYC. He has played at London's seminal DMZ night, at Smog and Pure Filth in LA, Grime City in SF, Dub Assembly in Dallas and many of the leading dubstep events around the US. Along with fellow Dub War residents Joe Nice and MC Juakali, DQ has been at the forefront of breaking the dubstep sound in the US and plays a selection of the most sought after dubplates from the scene's top producers, as well has his own productions. He has shared the bill with artists including Skream, Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Kode 9, N-Type, and most of the leading DJ's in the scene -- and he continues to push the boundaries of the music by constantly experimenting and challenging audiences with new sounds.

Miss Haze & Hybrid Strain (Primitive Science, Anotha-Level)
has been tearing up the D’n’B scene since 2000. Her smooth mixing and kamikaze bass drops have been heard everywhere from New York to San Francisco where she has found a bass-friendly home with the Primitive Science crew. Her recent sets, featuring excursions into reggae and dubstep, have left audiences captivated and dancefloors destroyed. There are rumors of an upcoming Miss Haze dubstep record as well… Recently she came together with the East Bay’s Lisa Sleeves to form the Hybrid Strain, one of the sexiest bass-heavy tagteams in the bay area. Whether they’re rocking it in the underground, at the club, or on Primitive Science Radio, Miss Haze and the Hybrid Strain are not to be missed!

I-Vier (Jah Warrior Shelter, KFPA)
9 times sound clash champion and the Bay Area's favorite reggae selector, I-vier. From the mid 90's to now, Jah Warrior Shelter and I-vier have been holding down the dancehall and rasta sound in the Bay Area, NYC, and beyond. His history is rich with a long time residency on the Reggae express 94.1, as well as opening the first west coast reggae vinyl shop, Wisdom Records. Constantly on the move, he holds a residency at Club Milk on tuesdays, and has opened up for every single major reggae star that has ever touched ground in the Bay Area. Many mixtapes, soundclashes, and foundational club nights later, I-vier returns to surya dub after being at the Very first one in 2007! We look forward to his presence and top ranking selection.

Coop D'Ville (Temple Labs, Dviz Muzak)
Born in Spanish harlem New York City, Coop D'Ville was influenced by the birth of hip hop culture. As a five yr old growing up in Uptown N.Y.he witnessed the pioneers of graffiti, dj's, and b-boyin of legends Dondi, Kool Herc, and Crazy Legs. Inspired by Red Alert on the radio backspinning James Brown breaks, Coop was set to get turntables. He began his career 1984 rocking house parties and making mix tapes in Little Habana Miami.Fla. In 89' pirate radio revolutionized the airwaves where Cooper B (D.J. DEF) spun underground hip hop, bass and club hits. In 91' he changed his name to DJ Coop D'Ville and continued doing radio shows at various stations and clubs mixing hip hop, jungle, and dub along side dj's like Craze, T.C.Islam, Jah Yzer, and Khalid. In 2000 he made a move to the Bay Area spinning at events like Elephunk, Dubphonic, True Skool Presents, Compression, Bass Sessions, Holding Firm, Summer Bounce, Cooyah and Others. This year Dj Coop D'Ville brings the sound of dubstep-reggae-hip hop for release in the fall of 2008!
