LIGHT LOUNGE
LIGHT seduces its guests to enter through the stream of seemingly fluid, organic lined screens flanking the staircase. Pulling you from street level towards the glow of the chandelier above, the warmth of LIGHT is felt before even entering the club.
All elements of the space are unified through a palate of black and white infused with warm wood tones and the sparkle of crystal chandeliers and layering of ornate damask motifs. The simplicity of the interior plan belies the richness and diversity of materials.
The main bar stretches more than half the clubs depth and provides a striking contrast of black marble and glass mosaic tiles against the adjacent lush full-height white velvet drapes spanning the remaining walls. The repeating white wood slating above reinforces the clean architectural lines drawing guests deeper into the warmth of LIGHT.
Change in elevation creates areas of distinction. The front VIP area surrounds guests in veils of white, lit only by a single central hung crystal chandelier. Custom designed sleek furnishings perched atop the cream marble platform offers a view of the entire club while still maintaining privacy and exclusion.
Though careful attention has been paid to ensure every corner of LIGHT reflects their vision of opulence and style. The heart of LIGHT can be seen from every angle of the club. Beneath a 4' diameter custom crystal chandelier, the curved white leather bench slices itself from within the raised dance floor surrounding it. Not for the apprehensive guest, this location is a venue to see and be seen.
For LIGHT night club, all forms of light truly bring definition to space and create a mood that carries patrons away from the urban dull and into the luxurious opulence.
Designed by women, with women in mind.
REVIEW
Formerly Fabrik Lounge, Light was “designed by women with women in mind.” The décor is an assortment of black and white textures, with white woods, leather benches and velvet drapes, cream marble platforms, a black marble bar with glass mosaic tiles and a single crystal chandelier lighting up the raised dance floor.
As this club was designed with the ladies in mind, it is destined to reel in loads of men as well. However, there are a couple of strict policies in effect: you must be 23 years or older and stylishly dressed to get into this place.
Light Lounge is available for corporate events during the week and is open Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.
