Taj IITaj II incorporates intimate dining, cocktails and lounging within a mordern decor that has been designed with accents of India. The vision for Taj II, previously the event space Bloom Ballroom, was a clean contemporary space accented by traditional Indian culture. The interior was designed and decorated with fine details such as imported carved teak doorways, sandstone statues, bronze and crystal chandeliers, a mahogany bar and clasic fabrics featuring east Asian patterns.
Taj II called upon internationally renowned chefs and consultants to create modern Indian fusion cuisine.
Taj II seats 100 for dinner, holds up to 299 for cocktails, and boasts a a Private Mezzanine with a capacity of 80. The seating arrangements range from reclining lounge beds with pillows, to intimate dining within U-shape banquettes under unique 6 foot trumpet-like silk lamps, to a private mezzanine with couches and ottomans.

Menu
Taj II has created sophisticated menu of Indian fusion fare combining key flavors and spices from traditional Indian cuisine with French and American classic dishes. Highlights include seared sea scallops and fragrant shrimp with mango-pineapple chutney as an appetizer, and entrees such as 'tandoori' red snapper and butter poached lobster with basmati rice. For dessert, Taj serves sweet modern twists on Indian favourites, such as wild-berry samosas with chocolate-chai fondue.
Taj II brought aboard expert beverage consultant, Jerri Banks of Ladies who Launch to create a colorful and unique cocktail menu to compliment the coisine and the decor.
Special Events
Whether it is seated dinner with dancing for 100 or a cocktail reception for 300, Taj II is a flexible and versatile location for your special event. Seating ranges from reclining lounge beds with ottomans and pillows, to more standrad banquet tables. The private mezzanine with couches and ottomans is the perfect environmnent for a cocktail party for 80 guests or an exclusive dinner for 40 guests.
